What is a Gallery Moderator?
A Gallery Moderator (GM) is a deviant who looks after a specific category of deviantART. They are easily recognised by the ^ shaped symbol infront of their username. In the GM position they can run official contests, organise community wide events, select Daily Deviations for their category and act as a voice between deviantART staff and the community.
The Gallery Moderator position is entirely voluntary with GMs running all of their activities in their free time. There are no set 'tasks' a GM must organise or complete - they cater for what their gallery needs and they are able to deliver.
Who is the Emote GM?
We currently have 2 GMs for the emoticon community - mintyy and Krissi001. You can contact either of them by sending a note to their account or visiting their userpage. They don't bite :)
